1) Basic Imam & Muazzin Course
The course was completed on the 1st June '09. So, check out our future Imam-s and Muazzin-s!

2) Youth aL.I.V.E. HP ( Quran & Quranic Sciences )
This programme was completed on 11 June '09. Guess the participants really had a very knowledgeable journey...

3) Muhammadiyah Welfare Home's Futsal Tournament 2009
It was completed on 14 June '09. Our Youths got 4th placing.

4) Youth Leaders Empowerment Bowling & Usrah @ NSRCC
It was done on the 16th June '09. A time to 'destress' and bond amongst us all =)

5) Pasir Ris Soccer Fiesta 2009 Collaboration with NPC
The event was on the 17th June '09.

6) Prison Visit Collaboration with NPC
It was held on the 18th June '09.

7) MY-SPEX '09

Here are the details:
- Meet up at Al-Istighfar Mosque at 2 p.m
- A working bicycle - Bring 'Kain' or wear long pants
- Basic hydration
- extra clothing (just in case)

Wow.. after so long.. here is just a short update about what Wildan & Widad have done during the month of Ramadhan..
Sorry semua... kiter tak update...

1) Youth In Charge
This was done on the second week of Ramadhan... Gerek! Luv the spirit that all of u have put in for the event. Everyone's contribution was needed.. Even though it may be quite tiring, but i know.. u all surely had fun,kan...=p

2) Hikmah Ramadhan
This event was a collaboration with Siglap sec. Got to share experiences and also kenal2 with our adik2 from Siglap.. Going to the houses in smaller groups was meaningful as we were able to share stories.. secrets.. ehem2... hehe =p

All in all, thank u all for participating and making the events happening!! Really appreciate the spirit and also the enthusiasm from everyone.. On our side, kiter jugak minta maaf kalau ader kekurangan dalam menjalani events, yer.. =p Jgn serik, tau..

Oh.. Ramadhan is coming to an end.... hopefully, this Ramadhan was much more meaningful and also in turn, encourage all of us to be better Muslims, insya'allah.

Salam,

Heres the pics taken durin the preparation of the 8 min film which Wildan's Four-Square Production participated in!!

Due to their busy schedule with school and student attachments, the crew only manage to shoot their film a day b4 the submission..However,thanks to the hardwork of the members who stayed up that night to finish the product and also the help from the AV team and support from Istighfar's MMB, the Four-Square Production Crew manage to submit their film 2 hrs before time due!!

The Wildan boys not only got involved in the NEMC the very next day but they also participated in the Band Competition whereby the band which they formed are to compose a song which relateds the the theme "Youth Harmony". Naming themselves the "Band-age", alhamdulillah they manage to come up with their own song within a week and performed it on stage!

The result? They got First! Congrats to the Band-Age for winning and being the 1 of the 2 rock bands in Wildan and the first band formed by a mosque in Singapore!

We completed the challenge!! Wildan's 3rd Night Cycling and this time all the way to Esplanade!

POST RYC REPORT

Assalamu'alaikum,

Yup! We were at Masjid Sultan last saturday (eventhough many cant make it due to exams) for the post-RYC thingy.

Eventhough its a RYC gathering where peeps frm all..not all...MOST mosques come down, they still got the 'family-unity' feelin among themselves. The RYC is like a stepping stone for all of us to widen our circle of frends and go higher in achieving our goal to serve the community,the ummah and seek Allah's blessing, insyaAllah.

Thanx to the Wildans n Widad who came down to support our team! First time Wildan collaborating with Fityan for a NASYID performance u noe! Thnx to the Fityans oso for their never-dying enthusiasm to do the performance with us. U peeps should see J.J(Jurizal) tryin his very hard to sing coz he's short and his partner was way taller! *hehe*

The best part was...aft the show we got RYC BAGS!! The popular sling bags,ZINC, had RYC logos printed on dem! There were so many designs...but then the nice onces were snached by sumone else leavin us the blue and the red bags..well.....at least they r FREE. *hehehehe*

Aft claimin the bags, tryin so many times to change the type of color n design, we joined the rest of the RYC peeps down the basement of Masjid Sultan to eat. Yea...aft that it was the end of the event.

Ooh ya..for those who missed the nasyid performance, u may catch the video on the 'video' section or at YouTube.com..*still tryin to upload Ust Sofyan's motivational speech..but,haiz..*

..January has went by so fast! haha..ok,ok..so whats happenin yo?

Well, the wildans and widads are strugglin with the first month in sch, but that doesnt mean they cant get together rite?

Alhamdulillah,the Silat Class for wildan, opened in early Jan, has got over 50 participants!! We only expect 30 u noe..Due to the overwhelmin response,we regret to tell you this..REGISTRATION CLOSED! To all our pesilat, we got our puchin bags,pads n many more and guess what? the official silat tshirt comin soon! So dun u miss the classes!

Widad in the other hand are not left out of coz..they're havin weekly hangout doin activities together and also explorin different kinds of sports to have an active lifestyle! Whoever said the girls dont have power?

FRIDAY PRAYERS COLLECTION
yup! we're havin a collection durin Friday Prayers on every 3rd week of the month. This is to help us raise funds for our upcomin activities(especially the dec holiday overseas trip!). So if u want more fun and activities,do lend us a hand!

The Al-Istighfar Education dept is organisin a mentor program collaborating with FSC(Family Service Center), the one u get to have buddies to guide. Yea..and they requested Wildan as awhole,to join in the program as a mentor..its for those who likes being around with kids, applicable to 15 yrs and above only.

Juz for your info,Mr Q. is part of the Mediterranean Visual Arts Club (MVAC),and the MVAC will be organising a Digital Calligraphy Workshop at the National Library(Bugis),

Venue: Imagination Room

There will be lots of display,theory and practical session on Khat (arab calligraphy), Jawi, calligraffiti(calligraphy fused with graffiti) and many more.So get the cameras snappin for the jaw-dropping artworks! Hai orang-orang yang beriman bertaqwalah kamu kepada Allah dan katakanlah perkataan yang benar. (Al-Qur`an: Al-Ahzab ayat 70)

Rasulullah bersabda: "Siapa yang beriman Kepada Allah dan hari akhir maka hendaklah ia mengatakan yang baik atau diam." ( Hadist riwayat Bukhari dan Muslim )

Kualitas seseorang bisa terlihat dari kemampuan menjaga lidahnya. Sebaik-baik perkataan adalah perkataan yang sanggup mengatakan kebenaran dan ketika Rasulullah ditanya akhlaknya beliau menjawab akhlak beliau adalah Al-Quran. Rasul termasuk orang yang jarang berbicara tetapi sekali berbicara bisa dipastikan kebenarannya.

Orang yang berkualitas tinggi dalam berbicara yaitu, syarat dengan hikmah, idea, gagasan solusi, ilmu dan dzikir. Jadi manfaatnya bisa dirasakan oleh dirinya dan orang yang di ajak berbicara.

Orang yang biasa-biasa saja dalam berbicara, dia sibuk menceritakan peristiwa-peristiwa. kita tidak dilarang menceritakan peristiwa-peristiwa tapi harus ada manfaatnya.

Orang yang rendahan dalam berbicara selalu mengeluh, mencela dan menghina. Orang yang dangkal dalam berbicara, orang tersebut sibuk menyebutkan tentang dirinya dan juga jasanya. Air gelas yang kosong maunya di isi terus, orang yang kosong dari harga diri maunya di hargai.

Menceritakan keburukan orang lain atau juga disebut ghibah merupakan dosa besar dan tidak diampuni sebelum di halalkan atau di maafkan oleh orang yang dibicarakan. Dan bila orang yang dibicarakan sudah meninggal maka kita harus taubat dan tidak mengulanginya lagi dan do`akan kebaikan buat orang tersebut dan juga bicarakan tentang kebaikannya.

Kita tidak bisa memaksakan orang lain sesuai dengan keinginan kita, tapi kita bisa memaksakan diri kita untuk melakukan yang terbaik dan menyikapi sikap orang lain. Kita jangan menghina, merendahkan dan meremehkan orang yang suka berbicara tidak baik kepada kita.

And guess what? Ust Sofyan & Mr Q are representing Wildan in the RYC committee this year! Ust Sofyan is in the Publicity Dept,while Mr Q is in the Designs' Team. Some work of Mr Q include the Official RYC Logo, RYC banners & posters.

Be sure to join us for the Ramadan Launching! The day is filed with exciting activities. Bear witness as the competitors from Xpressi-R Graffiti competition challenge head to head against each other starting from the morning as the all the other events concurrently take place.

Straight after the Ramadan launching, participants will be disbursed to different location to spread the word of Ramadan to all through giving away Ramadan awareness cards. All will later regroup at the same location at 3pm as we'll be having the more relaxed segment for the day. This will include the performances, street drama full presentation and the announcement of the Graffiti competition winner!

The exams are over at last*for me that is..muahaha* so here i am again to give updates to all Wildans out there!

Ok,what do we have this week?

Juz for your info..some of our members are selected to be part of the Mentor Program by MENDAKI...And to all mentors, reminder...our workshop at you noe where on saturday 2nd Sept at 8.30am. After that we'll be out for bowlin..till arnd 2pm.
YLN Soccer Tournament diz Sunday!! Event starts at 8am *i think ;P* ...If u're not playin,come n support us!
Doktor Masyita Ibrahim(M'sia) will be coming with a group of..arnd 60 pple to Istighfar nxt week! And guess what? The Silat team is invited again for performance *so far this is the 4th performance for Wildan!* on Friday for the openin ceremony..
Remember Encik/Cikgu Johan? Alah...yang actor kat TV tu...ya,our MMB...he's organisin a public speaking course on the 9th Sept,9am at Istighfar..its free so anione whos interested do tell me ya..
And one last thing..u noe abt Ust Sofyan's performance(22nd Sept)? Encik Amin, Istighfar vice chairman is sponsorin 4 tickets for Wildan..so far 2 have claimed,another 2 more tickets to go..If interested,pls,pls,pls sms/ring/email/speak to Mr Q. hahaks..

Sebagaimana kita semua dah maklum,esok akan di adakan Sports Day, korang tau eh keje masing-masing...Kalo tkde tugas datang je as spectators..hehehe..

Here's the important part.Nxt week,we're gonna have a mass photo taking session..yeap! All of you (Wildan & Widad) are invited to join in! Its on the 17th August(Thursday) at 6pm onwards. Meet at Babut-Takwa room.

HAHAHA...eh! lupe...Assalamu'alaikum (hehe..step baek konon)..

First of all..i would like to thank Widad (u go gals!!) for helpin out...and the boys( walaupun tak ramai) yang kecoh2 kat blakang dapo...

For those who didnt come to the event,u really missed the fun! Semua(semua ke?hahaks..i mean,the boys only) basah kuyup main water hose..ada la org tu maen target practice dgn hose at FULL BLAST!! hahaks..Muz jugak jadi mangsa...Den kite2 cuci pinggan mangkok & so on...

For the gals,i muz say...they looked pretty that morning being ushers & taking charge of the food bay...(si Q ni lain macam je bunyi.... ;P)

I didnt bring my cam so i could not upload any pictures yet...but i did took photos using Masjid dgn cik Sapiah punye digi cam...kalo free nanti amek la gambar dari kak haryani("kalo free")..

ok...tts it for this time...next activity/event in line is...*drum roll*....Sports Day!!
We might be taking mass photo(that include the girls too,ehem...) on that day for out notice board so JANGAN TK HADIR YE!!!

Hmm, our badminton tournament just ended last week. Ya, thanks to all who have contributed to the event! Insya'allah, more events are coming up for the next few months...

We have one coming up this Sunday, 30th July 06. It'll be held in the morning. Btw, for those beliawanis out there, do take note of this date, ya. We all will be helping out as kendarat-s! =P I will keep u all inform, of the event, ya~

Salam kpd semua!!

As you guys know,after the Badminton Tournament(22 July) we'll be havin an event with a special guest from Malaysia,Ustazah Fatimah Zahrah.

Wildan is invited for a nasheed performance as an opening for the event on Sunday(30 July) and help out 'back stage'. Nasheed training are as follows:

Saturday (22 July) afternoon..*yup! aft the badminton tournament*
Friday(28 July) may be aft solat jumaat atau lepas magrib

Yang lain kalo tknk volunteer nasheed here are the other tasks you could help out:

camera/video man
manpower/logistics (for the guys)
kendarat (for the girls)

Thats NOT ALL!!

Wildan is also invited for our 2nd SILAT performance on 12 August during the Sports Day organised by the Istighfar's Education Dept at Tampines Stadium.

Training and registration for the performance starts soon aft the Nasheed performance so hurry up & volunteer now!

utk projector yg tk clear (silau ah matahari),
suasana yg bising (Drill sini,Drill sane),
bdk2 ilang (laen kali nk chow blang la saya dulu...haiz),
dan facilitators yg kurang (tk sangka ramai dtg beb!!)....
